The W family are friends of ours. We met them a few years ago at Church and Justin and Connor are best friends. I can tell you that they are the kindest, sweetest and most loving family you will meet. They are so much fun to be around and I am excited that our kids are going to grow up together. In less than two months they are going to welcome their 4th child - a girl! So two boys and two girls is absolutely perfect! They are truly blessed :)

Thank you guys so much for hanging out with me tonight. I hope the kids enjoyed their LIttle Caesar's!

Darrin, Jenell, Jared, Justin and Jenea - you are all amazing. I am so excited to watch your family grow and be a part of it. I can't wait to photograph Baby Jocelyn's (well, not her name but in the list!) newborn photos.

My girl turned two recently. I don't know where the time went but I can tell you the past two years have been amazing. Watching my children grow has been the greatest blessing God has given me. I am 100% wrapped around their little fingers.

Madelyn is unlike other two year olds. Well, first off, she is the size of a 3-4 year old (height wise). She has also been going through the "terrible twos" since she was a year old. LOL! She also has a very extensive vocabulary and likes to talk a lot which I think she gets from yours truly :) I do love her so. She still calls herself baby. It reminds me of Dirty Dancing. "No one puts Baby in the corner". So I am wondering if we should break the nickname or if she should keep it. She antagonizes Connor to no end. She loves to brush her teeth. She would live outside if she could and her favorite person in the world is her Paw Paw.

The people that know Madelyn know that she is a character and a little trouble maker. But they also know that she is cuddly, loving and loves to be around people. The other night I was singing her bedtime songs and I asked her what she wanted me to sing next and she replied, "About Jesus". Talk about melt your heart. I love seeing kids at such a young age have the Lord in their hearts. She loves to pray to although most the time at dinner she giggles and look around the table as her hands are folded.

She is my little hippie princess. I swear I gave birth to a child just like my sister. She loves rocks and anything earthy. Plus, as you can see in her eyes she is so free-spirited. Oh, I just can't wait for the teenage years (sarcastic tone)!

Markie is the big 1!!!!!!

Little Mark II (my cousin is Little Mark I) just turned one!!!! I have not seen him since Christmas and I couldn't beleive how much he has grown. Walking, talking, pointing - wow, he has sure grown. I can only imagine the joy that Mark and Andrea have had this first year watching their little hero grow into an amazing toddler. Thank you guys so much for allowing me to capture the beauty of your family. Love you guys :)

A little teaser!!! Drew and Anne "Edwardsville IL Photographer"

Hello loves! Even though 4th of July has passed us, I hope everyone had a good one! It is one of my favorite holidays!

Anyway, I would like to introduce you to two little characters - Anne and Drew. Now they might look all cute and cuddly but boy, did they give me a run for my money! They are so funny and full of life. Mom and I had to keep bribing them and they outwitted us. Now Chris, did Drew get his shake after the session? LOL! I love them! Anne holds a special place in my heart. She was in Connor's preschool class for 3 year old and 4 year old preschool. She is so beautiful. I LOVE her hair. What a girl would do for ringlets like that! And Drew, Drew, Drew! He is one smart kid. His mom informed me he was multiplying by the time he was 3. That is nuts! I still have trouble multiplying and I am...well, let's just leave it at that. My age has nothing to do with this post :)

When I look back 7 years ago, when I was pregnant with Connor, I remember being so excited and ready to meet him that I couldn't stand it. Each day was longer than that last. But when I saw him for the first time, it was all a distant memory and I had a newfound love that was so great that I cannot imagine going another day without it. After talking to Brittany and Nick, I have a feeling that they are feeling the same way. They are first time parents and their little man will be here before they know it. I cannot wait to talk to them after he gets here because I know that the love the have for eachother will be even greater than it was before and that they are going to experience what I think is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us. They are truly beautiful on the inside and out. I wish them the best and I can't wait to hear all about their little man when he gets here.

Brittany and Nick, it was so nice meeting the two of you and by the end of the session I felt like we were old friends. Blessings to the two of you and your little one :) Love, Amanda
