Drumroll Please!!!!!! There is a new little man in town! {Collinsville, IL Children's Photographer}

{Jackson} = Complete cuteness!!!!! I had the pleasure of catching up with Pat and Ruthie, old friends of ours from college. They were just blessed with a bundle of cuteness a few months ago. I was so excited to visit with them and enjoy some time with Jackson. Warning to Brett - my meeting with Jackson made my baby fever already worse than it already is :) The three of them plus their three canine pals make an amazing family. I hope you love your sneak peak :) I can't wait to do dinner soon! Amanda

Note: Jackson rolled over for the first time within 20 minutes of the photo shoot. I think he loves the camera and rolled for joy!!!!! He may work for me in the future ;)








My new favorite picture!!!!

{Paige is 1} {St. Louis, MO Children's Photographer}

Well, I cannot believe that Paige is a year old already. She was the first newborn I ever photographed. I remember her being wide awake and very alert. Same big blue eyes! But guess what? SHE IS GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER! Paige (and Shamus the dog) have a little brother on the way. They will be best buds growing up!

Well, we combined a maternity, family and one year photo session in one morning. I think we did pretty darn good. Except for when Paige tripped and hit her face on the concrete. My heart broke for her! Well, here is Princess Paige and her wonderful family!

{Meet Jocelyn Alyss} {Edwardsville, IL Newborn Photographer}

As most of you know I absolutely love newborn shoots. I especially love them when the parents choose a name that I suggested (wink!). I have loved the name Jocelyn forever and it only seemed proper that when the W family were looking for another "J" name to suggest it :) Maybe more than once but hey, it stuck! Jocelyn goes by Josie which fits her very well. She looks like a Josie. Her middle name, Alyss, is shared with her mother and sister. She is beautiful and I can tell already that she is going to have her daddy wrapped around her little finger. He now has two princesses to love!

Thank you guys so much for inviting me into your home to capture your beautiful family. You guys mean a lot to me and it makes me smile to think of how blessed your family is and how happy and healthy your little blessings are :)

This dress is very special. This was Jenell's Christening gown that her grandma had made her. She was baptized in it, as well as Jenae and now Josie. The blanket was made by Jenell's great-aunt whom she was very close too. It was beautiful to see Jenell light up when Josie put this dress on.

A lovely day in the park with the A Family! (St. Louis Children's Photographer}

A little over a month ago I received an email from the absolutely sweetest girl ever! She had found me online and wanted to book me for some family photos in October. Well, that didn't work out because I have been booked for October for a while now but we were able to do September due to some calendaring errors (long, long story) on my part - I will not get into it :) LOL! I think God gave us the most perfect day ever. The weather was clear, the sky was beautiful and there was an amazing band playing at the park we are at. Anyway....

Let me know introduce you to Troy, Sara and Blake - the sweetest family :) When you are at a park in St. Louis a lot of people on the IL side of the river don't know about and you see an IL plate you immediately know it is your client. I hope they don't think I am crazy when my loud mouth runs up excited! I love meeting new people so sometimes I get a little hyper. Thankfully, they are not strangers just going to hang out at the park and are actually my clients. LOL! But when they got out of the car I saw Blake, a little man full of spirt with the most beautiful brown eyes. It took him a while to warm up to me but half-way through he came around and at the end I got a big hug :)
