Michelle and Danny {St. Louis, MO Engagement Photographer}

Dear Danny and Michelle,

Thank you for surviving this cold, cold winter day with me. I think the windburn, numb hands and runny noses were worth it :) I had a lot of fun hanging out and talking about all we had in common. I pray that you are blessed with many years of love and happiness. I can't wait to see those Vegas wedding photos!

Amanda

Here's Johnnie!!!! {Collinsville, Illinois Photographer}

Here is one sweet little man! And you may recognize Carlie from a past shoot. Boy, that girl is photogenic. I think she just may grow up to model! I will be back to write more but until then enjoy these sweet siblings :)

And so it begins... {St. Louis, Missouri Photographer}

Another New Year is upon us! Happy 2010 to everyone. I figured I would start the new year today because it is a Monday and only seems right. So the yearly New Year's resolution of dieting is here. I doubt I can keep it but I will try. There are a lot of things I am planning for 2010. I can't see what God has in store for me. 2009 was such an amazing year that I can't see 2010 being better but I have a feeling it will be. Here are some of my goals and things happening for me in 2010:

1) Being a better child of God. Definitely top priority on my list. I need to remember no matter what that he will take care of me :)
2) Photographing my kids more.
3) Rocking the holga and film Rebel with Connor. I dug out my old portfolio from the film days and was rather impressed. I forgot how much fun it was. I bought every accessory possible for the Holga so I am excited to see what we can do messing around with it. I hope it leaks light :)
4) Buy a full-frame camera. This will be sooner than later.
5) Be more organized. This should be number 2.
6) Lose some weight. I really packed on the pounds last year and none of my pants fit. That is a sure sign that I need to diet. By, by Oreos and hello celery sticks!
7) Right now Kim Drury is working on a new logo and marketing set for me! I am so excited. I am also redoing my website again. I am really pumped over this.
8) Refer to number 7, I am revamping my entire business.
9) Blog on time. I have a few sessions from October I still haven't blogged. I need to get on it!
10)Hopefully have baby Zika #3 on the way!
11)Spend more time with my amazing friends. I feel like I never get to see them :(
12)And the biggest is to be a work at home mom. This is the year that I will quit work (crossing fingers) and be a full-time photographer!!!!

Thank you to all my amazing clients for such an awesome year. I would not be where I am without you. Photographing your beautiful faces has truly been inspiring and uplifting. Blessings to all of you!

Thank you to my photographer friends, you know who you are, for getting me through this year. Especially Karin for helping me out with all her wedding knowledge and pushing me to do add weddings to my business when I didn't think it was possible.

Thank you to my amazing husband and for all his support. Seriously, he is beyond amazing with all of this :) I love him so! And also to be beautiful children. Especially Connor who shares my passion and is better than most photogs out there. Sorry it is the truth :)

Okay, now that I just sounded like I won a Grammy or something I will end this. Just thank you!

There is a new little man in town! {Edwardsville, Illinois Photographer}

See post below. Yep, he has arrived - HE has arrived. Not a girl. I was wrong :) Ezekial, the new little man in town, is just as handsome as his brother Tobias - and as charming. I held him for a while before we started pictures. I have crazy baby fever so I could have sat there all day with them and held little Zeke but I knew that had a job to do - see photos below.

B family, you guys truly mean so much to me. I can't believe this is our 4th session!!!! Where does the time go? Not only are you clients but dear friends. Blessings to you and your sweet little man. He is truly a treasure from God.

Love, Amanda
