Angie and Joel {Highland, Illinois Photographer}

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard at a wedding. From the time I called the cat the "country cat" to the "baby" during the garter toss there were some great times. Angie and Joel are such a fun couple and their wedding party was such a blast that my lovely 2nd shooter, Jennifer Crowe, and I felt like old friends. Super and genuine people!

Thank you Angie and Joel for being so awesome and I can't wait to meet your little one once she arrives!

I will keep it short on this one or else I could go on writing all day long. First off, let me say how intimidating it is photographing your best friend's family. And this BFF also happens to be the best lifestyle photographer around. Yeah, intimidating. BUT also so rewarding to capture people you love dearly. And don't they photograph nicely? :) Gorgeous people on the inside and out and I hope that these photos tell their story. This right here is why it is so important to do in-home sessions. These are the type of photos that Aubri and Carlie will show their families someday. Photos of them spending quality time with mom and dad dancing and twirling around in the living room. Or making their favorite blackberry sorbet. This is life people. Choose your photographer wisely because this is once in a lifetime and you want it captured perfectly or unperfectly :)

My favorite picture EVER!

Owen {Edwardsville, Illinois Newborn Photographer}

I know that you have seen this family many times on my blog. I absolutely love photographing them and am more then overjoyed that I now have a cute little Miller to photograph. My heart of course belongs to Annica but now it also belongs to Owen. Owen is such a sweet man. I miss that newborn stage already. It goes by in a blur but is one of the most amazing times of your life (once you get past the fact you may never sleep again!). I really do have some really cool clients that remind me that I have a really cool job.

And Annica is going through a stage where she doesn't like anyone but me ;) Well, we thought she was going to shy away from the camera but she was hamming it up. I have that way with kids. Must be my good looks! ha, ha
