Colt and Brittany Huddleston {Belleville, Illinois Photographer}

Colt and Brittany met when Cole (the cutest boy with the longest eyelashes in the world) saw a match made in Heaven. Colt and Cole had a class together when they were in pharmacy school at SIUE. Cole grew up with Brittany and knew she had an obsession with anything and everything John Deere. So when Cole spotted Colt sporting a John Deere hat in class, he knew that he must introduce them. I am pretty sure for the both of them that it was love at first sight. It had to be - look at the two of them. They are both gorgeous and sweet as can be. I cannot imagine anyone not falling in love with that charm. I told Cole at the wedding that he is a true matchmaker. I am thinking we can go into business together. He can match the couples and I can photograph the union. Now that would be a perfect match!

And I will admit that I have been really, really looking forward to this wedding all year. I have become close to the two of them and I even know their future children's names. And no one else does. Yes, I am that cool. Be jealous, very, very jealous :)

I love you guys and I can't wait to see pictures from Africa!

While we were waiting in line at Eckert's for a tractor this little girl was pulling on her mommy's shirt saying, "Look mommy a real princess!!!". So Brittany went over and talked to her. It was so sweet!

Louie and Stephanie Meyer {Collinsville, Illinois Wedding Photographer}

I had a hard time on what to write for this blog post. It is always hard to put into words a story about two amazing people and one that you have known for a lifetime. I went to Good Shepherd with Louie for our entire elementary and junior high school education. I have known his awesome family for almost my entire life. Louie was always the class clown and an amazing artist. He is also super down-to-earth and has a heart of gold. Yes, he is the entire package. So when Lura, his mom, emailed me about photographing his wedding I was not only excited but super curious. I had to meet Louie's soon-to-be bride right away.

Fast forward to my meeting with the Meyer's. Upon first impression of Stephanie I feel in love. Not only is this girl drop dead gorgeous but she has the most amazing smile. A true genuine smile. I knew immediately that this was Louie's soul mate. When you photograph a lot of weddings and constantly meeting new couples you can tell right away about a person's relationship. And I was spot on with Louie and Stephanie. They truly are a perfect match.

I wish them many, many happy and blessed years together. Much love, Amanda

The Hart Family {Kirkwood, Missouri Photographer}

I knew from the moment Anna and I emailed that this session was going to be amazing. Two sweet little girls that are both 2.5 years with big grins and sass - bring it on! When I arrived and they were wearing these sweet little dresses, from Chocolate Soup no less, I knew immediately that I was going to have more color photos in this post then black and white. I love clothes like this in session. This family is so sweet and made me feel right at home. They are so cute and loving that I seriously walked around and just photographed them living life. That is the photography I love. And I did do the "stick dance" to get some giggles from the girls - or just a wide-eyed what is this crazy woman doing look. I am still trying to figure it out :) Oh, the things we photographers do to get a photo!
