I love Annica's face in this one!
The Miller Family | Edwardsville, Illinois Photographer
Oh how I LOVE the Miller family. It has been a joy watching their little ones grow. Annica and Owen are the cutest little love bugs and love the camera. And I mean LOVE the camera. Annica can't get enough of it. A lot different then the last time I did their photos. We may have a future photographer on our hands. And I can't believe Owen is six months and just as cute as ever. I just want to kiss those sweet baby man cheeks! And just an FYI the Browns (previous post) and Millers are super good friends. I just think that is so neat :)
The Brown Family {Kirkwood, Missouri Photographer}
You may recognize this family from previous blog post. They have become some of my favorite clients. Adam and Juli have been blessed with two very spirited and handsome little men. It seems like yesterday I was taking Tristan's six month photos and now he is two. It is crazy how fast the time goes by. And I can't believe I was there a short six months ago taking Evan's newborn photos. I didn't think he could possibly be more gorgeous then he was as a newborn but he truly is even more beautiful. He has the sweetest heart-shaped lips I have ever seen. And lots of baby rolls to cuddle :) Enjoy this sweet family.
Caiti & Kevin | St. Louis Engagement Photographer
There is something about the winter light that I love. I think it is the way it reflects off of any surface and creates and soft glow. I knew Caiti wanted some magical light in her photos so I was pretty ecstatic when we woke up and it was sunny outside. The entire week had been so gloomy and it was supposed to rain. Well, it ended up being a fabulous shoot and after hanging out with Caiti and Kevin all morning it made me even more excited to photograph their wedding. I am so thankful for the couples that chose me to photograph their special day. They are all so sweet and easy going. I love my job!
My Girl - A Personal Post {O'Fallon, Illinois Photographer}
I don't post about my personal life very often or my children. I should probably start more but the main reason I don't post is because I don't have time. The second is because I just don't want to. I don't mean that in a negative way I mean it in almost a magical way. I like to only post very, very special things and keep most things that happen in my home private just for my family. Just like when you get your photos done by yours truly I consider it special and therefore I post it on my blog. It is a milestone captured in your life at that moment and should be shared.
Well this is one of Madelyn's milestones and I really, really am excited to share it with you. Since she was a baby she has loved horses. Actually, has been obsessed with horses. Her world revolves around animals but she has a special love for horses (and tigers). I went back and forth on where and when to start riding lessons for her. I wanted somewhere safe and somewhere with awesome people that run it. My friend Lauren, who grew up riding, suggest Royale Ranch. She rode there her entire riding career and that is where she boarded her horse. So without hesitation I called them and Madelyn now does lessons once a week for an hour and a half. She is in love with it. They are amazed on how well she is doing and actually thought she was older by the way she was guiding the horse. I am so proud of her. The entire time watching her ride my heart felt so full I thought it was going to burst.
I love my Madelyn.
