Fate {Edwardsville, Illinois Photographer}

I am a firm believe that God brings people together for a reason. Sometimes the reasons go unknown, others are right in front of us. I truly believe that God brought Eve and I together for a reason when she contacted me for a session. Eve is a truly amazing person - she is beautiful on the inside and out, intelligent, giving,amazingly talented and has the kind of inner strength that can give hope. She is a fellow photographer, watercolorist and gifted writer. She has a blog {www.infertilityrocks.wordpress.com} that is raw and filled with hope, love, loss and happiness. I feel honored to photograph her and her beautiful family.

You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them."
Psalm 139:13-16

"The word of the Lord came to [Jeremiah], saying:
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you."
Jeremiah 1:4-5

Amanda,

I woke up at 2AM for another bout of sleeplessness, only to find the amazing gift of these pictures awaiting me. My husband and I cannot express to you how much these pictures mean to us. You are so gifted, and warm, and wonderful to work with...and yes, God gave me the blessing to put you in my path.

Many, many thanks for the kindness and senstivity you showed for us. We will treasure these images always.

Amanda these are simply incredible. So many different aspects are documented wonderfully! Laughter, happiness, family, love. What more could someone want? You are so amazing at capturing a family's love. A true gift that you were born to share. I adore the little boys belly kiss the most I think. Eve and her family are gorgeous!

My eyes a re filled with tears....Amazing does not seem to be a colorful or powerful enough word to describe these priceless pictures...My heart fluttered when I saw the picture of Sam kissing Eve's belly. It was so warming to see a smile on her face as well...even if only short lived. I see what an amazing woman and family I am reading about and hope to emulate that strength with my own family. <3

I know Eve's story and these pictures are amazing. They capture every aspect of the pain and the hope that are living side by side in them right now.

You are wonderful for doing them and your talent is clear.

I've known Eve for around 3 years from our photography board and think and pray for their family constantly. Eve is such an amazing, strong, beautiful woman and she deserves so much in life. These pictures are stunning! Such a great way to remember sweet baby Will by. I'm sure Abby will treasure these pictures when she gets older as will Eve and her dh.

Beautiful photos. They are a wonderful testament to Will, while still celebrating the life which is to come in Abby.

Contemplative, but not morbid - I'm glad they've given Eve something to smile about at this time. What a gift.

Amanda, what a surprise & pleasure to run into you yesterday. It's a remarkable program you shared with me.

When I got home I wanted to find your site, and I DID!!!

I cannot tell you how much I love your photography. You are really gifted and blessed in your work. Every picture is so touching.

I looked for a place to "follow" your blog, but I guess it's not so much like that type of a blog, so I will follow you through the feed and keep track of your progress with my google reader.

Blessings in all your endeavors, and I look forward to running into you again, perhaps when we have more time to chat!
