My Girl - A Personal Post {O'Fallon, Illinois Photographer}

I don't post about my personal life very often or my children. I should probably start more but the main reason I don't post is because I don't have time. The second is because I just don't want to. I don't mean that in a negative way I mean it in almost a magical way. I like to only post very, very special things and keep most things that happen in my home private just for my family. Just like when you get your photos done by yours truly I consider it special and therefore I post it on my blog. It is a milestone captured in your life at that moment and should be shared.

Well this is one of Madelyn's milestones and I really, really am excited to share it with you. Since she was a baby she has loved horses. Actually, has been obsessed with horses. Her world revolves around animals but she has a special love for horses (and tigers). I went back and forth on where and when to start riding lessons for her. I wanted somewhere safe and somewhere with awesome people that run it. My friend Lauren, who grew up riding, suggest Royale Ranch. She rode there her entire riding career and that is where she boarded her horse. So without hesitation I called them and Madelyn now does lessons once a week for an hour and a half. She is in love with it. They are amazed on how well she is doing and actually thought she was older by the way she was guiding the horse. I am so proud of her. The entire time watching her ride my heart felt so full I thought it was going to burst.

I love my Madelyn.

Amanda~ These are so very sweet! Absolutely love how your photos tell a story of the time spent there. I can tell how happy and in love with the experience he was. We really must get her and Brynn together as Brynn loves horses as well. They seem so much alike! Thanks for sharing the photos!
